Patex is Thailand natural latex foam manufacturer/producer. Began in 1955, Patex started producing products using 100% natural rubber latex such as toys, balloons and medical latex gloves. Since 1971, Patex stepped into the manufacturing of latex foam mattresses and pillows under registered company Pattani Industry (1971). Brand name “PATEX” derived from “Pattani” + “Latex”. Now with annual turnover over $5 million (USD), Patex is the largest producer of latex foam in Thailand and among the top in Asia. At Patex using only 100% natural latex, we manufacture latex foam, latex pillow, latex sheet, carpet underlay and agglomerated latex foam. Not only Patex has more than 40+ years experience in export to more than 20 countries around the world but also 40+ years experience in domestic retailing under “Patex” brand. Now Patex export over 45% and domestic brand “Patex” is a leading latex mattress, latex pillow in Thailand market.

1955

  • Pattani Industry Limited Partnership was founded by Mr.Temsit Nithi-Uthai.
  • Began first production line to produce concentrated natural latex and other latex products such as toys, ballons, and medical gloves (natural latex).

1963

  • Second production line was set to produce latex foam supplied to local furniture and automotive industry.
  • Since then the direction of the company was changed to produce latex foam.

1971

  • The company fully stepped into the latex foam industry. The major products were latex foam mattresses and pillows.
  • The company has reformed and changed the name to be Pattani Industry (1971) Company Limited.
  • The brand PATEX was created

1976

  • Expanded the new production facility to increase the production capacity 5 times

1983

  • Skim rubber was successfully researched and developed to be a skim block product and distributed to market

1993

  • PB Patex Co.,Ltd. and its subsidiaries were established. The major product are latex foam sheet, carpet underlay, and other related foam coating product.

1997

  • Moved the production facility to a new area, which increased its production capacity 5 times.

1999

  • 60% of the production was distributed to oversea market

2000

  • Continuous technology was used to produce latex sheet

2002

  • Patex was the first producer of fire retardant latex

2003

  • Patex was the first producer of rebond latex foam in Thailand
  • The pillow production line was expanded and the capacity was increased

2004

  • Patex, again, expanded mattress production line

2007

  • Another construction of new pillow production line has been finished. Hence, pillow production capacity increase.

Present

The company exports over 60% of its products including mattresses, pillow, latex foam sheet, roll foam sheet worldwide.
